Healing, Growth, and Identity Work for the Whole You
Hi, I’m Erin (she/her/hers), a Licensed Professional Counselor. In my therapeutic practice I treat clients as holistic beings. Many people believe that mental health solely impacts the mind, however, it has the potential to impact the body, soul, and our everyday interactions as well.
As a result, I work to include peoples strengths and interests into their sessions. In doing this, my aim is to help clients recognize that who they are is good enough to aid them in their healing journey.

Therapy designed to meet you where you are
Free Consultation - 15 minutes
This brief call is a chance to meet, ask questions, and get a feel for working together. We’ll talk about what you’re looking for in therapy and see whether this feels like a good fit with no pressure or obligation to move forward.
Intake Session - 90 minutes - $200
Our first session is focused on understanding your story, your concerns, and what matters most to you right now. Together, we’ll explore where you’ve been and where you’d like to go in therapy.
By the end, you’ll have a personalized plan to guide our work moving forward.
Individual Therapy - 60 minutes - $175
Ongoing sessions are a space to continue exploring your experiences, integrate what you’re learning, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. We’ll focus on identity, healing, and growth in a way that feels supportive and grounded.
You set the pace, and we adjust as your needs evolve.
Questions About Therapy
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, at this time I currently accept the following insurances as private and Medicaid: Anthem, United Health Care, Sentara, Optum
What if you don’t accept my insurance?
If you do not have insurance I accept you can use Out of Network benefits (non applicable for Medicaid insurance). With this option you will pay the Out-of-Pocket cost and it will go towards your Out of Network deductible.
If you do not have insurance or wish not to use your insurance, you can do self-pay whereby you pay the Out-of-Pocket cost for services.
What is spiritual abuse or religious trauma?
SPIRITUAL ABUSE: Misuse of power in a spiritual context whereby authority figure(s) distort spirituality and cause harm to those under their leadership. It is a complex experience that is both process and event, influencing one’s inner and outer worlds and has the potential to affect the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual domains of the individual.
RELIGIOUS TRAUMA: The physical, emotional, or psychological response to religious beliefs, practices, or structures that is experienced by an individual as overwhelming or disruptive and has lasting adverse effects on a person’s physical, mental, social, emotional, or spiritual well-being.
What if I had a negative experience with a group (religious or otherwise) but it does not fall under spiritual abuse or religious trauma?
That’s no problem. Your story still deserves to be heard. Schedule a consultation and see if I can still help meet your therapeutic needs.
Do you still see clients who want to be seen for something outside of religious trauma?
Yes, I work with individuals hoping to address challenging transitions in their lives, process trauma, or work through challenges with depression and anxiety related symptoms
